The children retuned to Fei Yue @ Hougang Dewcourt in July! This time, they were on an important mission – to work with their parents and seniors to create art pieces which will be auctioned in support of President’s Challenge.
Working in small groups, children, parents and seniors started their creative works. From weaving to painting, they created art pieces using different materials and experimented different art techniques. Although the teams could not complete their creations in one visit, they demonstrated care and respect for one another. Most importantly, they spent wonderful time together. It was such a joy to observe how the three generations worked together to produce amazing creations.
Everyone was enthusiastically preparing for the finale event – Art Exhibition cum Auction to raise funds for President’s Challenge.
The children brought the uncompleted art pieces back to the centre. They worked on the creations tirelessly and could not wait to sell their art pieces in the upcoming auction to help someone in need.
