The children started their first special activity with a warm appreciation by making hand made letters and rainbow loom bracelets.
As we had a sharing among the class, they wanted to let the elders to know the following:
a “We love you, AhMa and AhGong!”
b. “We care for you and we love you”
c. “We can’t wait to play with you again soon, AhMa and AhHong”
d. “Thank you for making Singapore a liveable place for us”
We picked some vegetables in our school garden to use as our flower stamps in our appreciation letters! 🙂

The children also enjoyed preparing the Rainbow Loom Bracelets to be used to secure their appreciation letters. They carefully picked the colours that they wanted to use to make them.
Then we created a huge letter envelope to place all the children’s appreciation letter for the Ah Mas and the Ah Gongs of Active Ageing Hub. The envelope was given to them on the following day.
The children were very glad to see the Ah Mas and Ah Gongs’ happy faces receiving their appreciation letters and personalised rainbow loom bracelets. 🤗
