In this year’s Start Small Dream Big (SSDB) project, our PG-K1 children were engaged in a meaningful project in appreciating the migrant workers’ hard work. We collaborated with the Migrant Workers’ Centre (MWC), a non-government organization whose mission is to champion fair employment practices and the well-being of migrant workers in Singapore. We showed our appreciation towards the migrant workers as we raised funds to prepare 50 necessities bags for them.
The N2-K1 children designed their personalized items such as caps and tote bags and put them up for parents to bid to help achieve the raise funds target. We were overwhelmed by parents’ support in terms of raising funds and the contribution of necessities items that are placed in the bag for the migrant workers. As for our PG-N1 children , they created hand printing art work design on the paper bag which shows their thankfulness towards the migrant workers hard work.
Once again , thank you parents for your active participation and support in this SSDB project. Neverthless not forgetting our little ones who place much effort in it too !❤️
