Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, the children at Islander Pre-school have not forgotten the ongoing global fight against climate change. The group had set out to inquire into how the properties of materials influence the way they are reused or repurposed, through a series of observations and experiments right before the circuit breaker. After the circuit-breaker, they decided to create awareness of recycling (and upcycling) in the school by setting up recycling boxes at a common space. To potentially heighten awareness of this addition to the school, the children created posters and positioned them around the school. These colourful bins have certainly caught the eye of the rest of the community and we look forward to getting the collected items in the bins to the right place or find a way to repurpose them. What would our agents of change be up to next?
