In a follow-up activity to our introduction to the various types of gardening, we brought the children out to the mosque garden to explore and observe the different types of plants that we have grown and what method was used.
The children also had opportunities to touch some of the plants and explore the garden on their own. They saw the mango plant, kedondong plant, chili plant, pandan tree and so on.
After the walk through of the garden, the children came back to class where we had a short discussion of what they saw in the garden and what was used to grow them (soil, water etc).
