MK@Frontier has been celebrating Racial Harmony Day with the regular programmes such as getting children to dress up in their traditional costumes, sharing about what ‘Racial Harmony’ represents and singing of songs from the different cultures.
This year however, MK@Frontier decided to bring the event to a larger scale. We decided to promote more experiential learning for the children and also involve the children’s parents as part of the organising committee! We came together as a team and discussed on the ideas of making this event a memorable one! We wanted the children to understand that culture meant more than just clothings. It is about embracing and accepting diversity as well.
