To show our appreciation, we have decided to prepare something for the cleaners in our neighbourhood. Nursery children prepared Chocolate Oatmeal cookies in class. They are excited to do the cookery and they are reminded of food safety and personal hygiene during food preparation. They mixed rolled oats and melted chocolate together. Then, roll them into ball and flatten it. After it was done, they placed it in the container.
K1 did a Thank You card for the cleaners. They cut out the word ‘Thank you’ and wrote some notes in the card. Some of them also drew the cleaners to be included in the card.
K2 performed the song ‘A Little Thank you’ to be sent to the cleaners. They have been practicing the song and actions to have such a great performance!
We have contacted our Town Council and met up with the person-in-charge, to pass the token of appreciation we prepared for the cleaners who have been helping to keep our neighbourhood clean and green.
