Children from Kinderland at Ministry of Manpower learnt to show love to people in the community and give back to the society in our little ways.
With the guidance of our teachers, we designed and painted reusable “Bear” bags to sell for fundraising. With our teachers’ facilitation, we set up game booths for our families and elderly from Lions Befrienders to play.
The elderly were very friendly and treated us like we were they grandkids. We served them coffee, tea, cakes and Dim Sum. They also joined us to a complete “Bear” sand art pieces.
We could not wait for more of such opportunities to interact with elderly in our community! Thank you for coming to Kinderland!
