After the launching of the 2021 SSDB Project in April, CP and Teachers, lead by Lead Teacher Fatimah Wee, kicked off the project by getting together to practice the different techniques of doing the Batik Artwork.
Chinese Teachers in each level (PG to K2) supported the children in doing the Batik Artwork from April to May.
The individual child’s Artwork was then framed, photographed and uploaded onto the Parent’s Portal for viewing before buying. The money collected was donated to Sunlove Senior Activity Centre @Serangoon as doing our part to strengthen our society by maintaining social connections through Batik Artwork.
On top of that, our K2 children had a zoom session with the Seniors there to teach them about Batik Artwork
Our donation drive was a success, we sold all of the children’s Batik Artwork and donated the money to Sunlove Senior Activity Centre @Serangoon.
