👶 Children’s Acts of Kindness: Tote Bags for Aunty 👶
Our K1 and K2 children didn’t just create tote bags; they had a special recipient in mind – their caregivers affectionately referred to as “Aunty.” The tote bags, embellished with lively designs and messages of gratitude, stood as a heartfelt expression from the children to those individuals who dedicate their lives to caring for them, often overlooking the fact that these caregivers have families of their own in their home country.
👩‍⚕️ A Touch of Artistic Appreciation: Collage Making for Our Courageous Nurses 👩‍⚕️
Our little ones, with their creative minds and caring hearts, embarked on a special project to express their thanks to the dedicated nurses. Using recycled newspapers, they crafted a thoughtful collage, adorned with well-wishes and messages of appreciation.
🌿A Neighborhood Clean-Up Initiative 🌿
Caring involves taking on shared responsibility, and in this SSDB Finale, we extended our assistance to the dedicated cleaners who actively contribute to environmental care. The children played a pivotal role by participating in a clean-up of the neighborhood garden and park, demonstrating our collective commitment to supporting those who work tirelessly to maintain a clean and green environment.
Through this initiative, MFS-TBC children demonstrated that sustainability is not just about taking care of our earth; it’s also about fostering a culture of care and appreciation. Their small acts of kindness created ripples of love that reached far and wide, touching the hearts of everyone involved in our sustainability journey. As we celebrate the SSDB Finale, let’s carry forward the lessons learned from the children – that a sustainable future is not only about protecting the planet but also about nurturing a community that cares for everyone. Together, with many helping hands and compassionate hearts, we look forward to a brighter, greener Singapore!
