Our Nursery children had a lot of fun as they embark on the journey towards Zero Waste. Children understood the importance of recycling and reusing instead of throwing away. They explored and brainstormed what crafts they can make with the different types of recyclables collected. They made pencil holders, flower vase, binoculars, picture frames and jewellery boxes with the teacher’s guidance.
We have also extended this ‘Zero Waste’ project to the Pre-Nursery, Kindergarten 1 and Kindergarten 2 levels to create awareness on the importance of the 3Rs.
Coming up next, our Centre will be organizing a Food Donation Drive to Chee Hoon Kog Moral Home For The Aged Sick. Our children are very excited to bring home their upcycle crafts in exchange for some food and drink donation items! See you in our next update!
