In this session, the children explored ‘tempo’ with musical instruments. A variety of percussion hand-held instruments were made available for the children to explore.
The children took the opportunity to observe the properties of these instruments where they determined the appropriate way of use , as well as the actions that are needed for them to produce sounds.
Our children performed with their chosen instrument to the tune of the song titled ‘Play it Right’ where they moved and played the musical instrument to the ‘tempo’ of the song.
In the following session, our children will plan on the approach of creating their instruments using recyclables.
