Our Care for Art Carnival was a great success!
Our children (Nursery, K1 and K2 children) and teachers put in a lot of effort in coming up with creative art pieces for charity sale.
Our toddlers and playgroup children also helped out by preparing some cookies and popcorns for charity sale. Not forgetting our infants, who also contributed their handprinted “fishes” for the Fishing Game.
We invited our children, their family members, nearby residents and the seniors and staff from Pertapis Senior Citizens Fellowship Home to join us at our Care for Art Carnival. Our young artists were very busy on that day as they tried hard to promote their products. Our parents and their families bought adult diapers and groceries like rice and biscuits in exchange for coupons to “buy” our young artists’ artworks. We managed to sell off all our art pieces within 1.5hours!
At the end of our Carnival, we received very positive feedback from our parents and the staff from Pertapis Senior Citizen Fellowship Home. They greatly appreciated our efforts and were delighted to be involved in such meaningful and purposeful charity event. To thank us for our efforts and as Teachers’ Day is just round the Corner, we encouraged our parents to draw and write down some words of encouragements to our teachers. The seniors were very touched by the generous contributions of adult diapers and groceries from our parents and their families. In return, they had prepared some gifts for us, too.
A very big THANK YOU to everyone!
