SSDB Project – Recycled Materials
In lieu of Singapore’s Bicentennial Celebration, children together with their parents came up with projects about Nation’s heritage through showing kindness and love for nature. The projects includes rickshaws, houses and iconic places of Singapore that are made up of recycled materials. On the other hand, children with the support of their parents are consistently bringing their recyclables from home which is used for learning purposes. In this simple and on-going practise, we are instilling to the young minds on how to show kindness to nature and environment.
On 17th of May 2019, PCF Sparkletots 79B celebrated Mother’s Day. Children from Toddler, N1, N2, K1 and k2 rendered a special dance presentation for their mothers.
As part of SSDB “Kind and Green Singapore – Starts with me” the parents brought foods to be shared with everyone. During the Opening Speech, the principal affirmed the mothers for being so generous and for showing to the children that sharing is actually an act of kindness.
A month after having the mother’s day Celebration, we also organized a celebration for the Fathers – the one who provides and protects the Family. As a father, they have to be a good role model to their child. Sharing is a way of educating the children that they should give a helping hands and give out what they can for other people.
In Collaboration of Children’s Society

In conjunction with our Start Small Dream Big project theme “Kind and Green Singapore – starts with me”, Blk. 79B have set up game booths for beneficiaries to engage in for that day.
Children participated in making of props for the “Free Market Family Fiesta” in collaboration with the Children’s Society. Children took part in drawing some positive thoughts/pictures to inspire the children from the Children’s Society.
