Our project aims to create awareness in children on how they can play their part in taking care of the environment. Through this awareness, we hope to have children taking own initiative to do their part in their own way:)
On top of classroom activities, we included beyond classroom experiences to conceptualized the awareness in them.
We enlisted our parents’ help in creating a craft with their child using recyclable materials. With all the crafts collected, we set up a booth at Yishun Junior College to sell it for their charity bazzar.
Parents came to support us and assist their child in selling the craft to the public.
We also took part in our annual litter picking event. This time round, we brought our children to Pasir Ris park to clean up the area.
These 2 events further enhanced children’s awareness in playing their part in caring for the environment. More activities will be coming along. Stay tuned for more:)
