The children from N2 and K1 classes from Posso Preschool @ Tampines Point embarked on a SSDB learning journey, titled \”Community helpers\”. This aligns closely with our school mission \”I Can\”, where the children learn how they can contribute their skills to give back to the community. Through this process, the children learn to be appreciative and thankful to the people in our community who ensure that it is safe and clean.
On 3rd July 2019, the children and their teachers worked as a team to bake cookies for our cleaning uncles, aunties, security guards and even bus captains that are in the vicinity of our school. Each child helped to prepare, bake, and pack the cookies into individual packages before distributing to our community helpers.
The children also had the opportunity to express their thoughts and feelings with art materials, on how they feel about contributing their efforts in giving back to the community.
Everyone had fun in actively contributing their efforts throughout the \”Start Small Dream Big\” project!
