This year, our centre is embarking on the SSDB journey to understand the importance of recycling and upcycling and hence our project is entitled, “Big Hearts, Little Steps Towards 3Rs”.
Children went around the neighbourhood to understand why they need to contribute to the effort of 3Rs.
To further appreciate the need not to waste and to upcycle, the teachers facilitated a DOW inquiry-based project using old newspaper to make recycled paper.
The process of making paper was tedious but the children appreciated that paper did not come easy.
