After learning about the values behind appreciating others, the students made thank you cards with personalised messages. They were also involved in a cookie baking activity that were to be given out as part of the thank you gift for the workers.

The appreciation gifts were presented to about sixteen neighbourhood essential workers from the Tampines North under Zone 4 and 5 that were presented during the SSDB 2020 Finale on 15th August 2020. The event was graced by Mr Baey Yam Keng, MP for Tampines GRC. The event was also broadcasted live to the students of the Centre through Zoom. It was indeed encouraging to have forty students and their families following the event on a Saturday afternoon. For that, we are truly grateful to the families who had made time for us.

Even though the SSDB project has ended, it is with utmost hope that the students continue to develop positive social behaviours towards their friends, family, neighbours, members of the public and the environment.
