The day has come come as our children delightfully donned their orange hat in anticipation for the party to begin! They have been looking forward to the launch of our first SSDB project with lots of excitement on how they can all give back to the community, earning them brownie points in becoming better people in the society.
As the party begins, their teacher lets on the project that they have been discussing for many weeks now. And it was finally decided that they will carry out a project in managing food waste in Singapore! The children were in extremely high spirits as they have been talking about environmental conservation for awhile now and this classroom topic has finally taken a life of its own, becoming a project that they can all sink their teeth into!
As the party comes to a close, the children brainstormed excitedly on what they can do altogether for the project. Just as they say, “no one do everything, but everyone can do something!”
