Adopted from the story “Kitty Cat is Clever”, children extended their learning on various ways to show care and concerns towards animals around us . During an outdoor learning activity, children fed the cat as well as touching it’s soft fur.
A parent volunteer took part to share about being a responsible pet owner. They exchange thoughts such as -

Feed pet regular nutritious and balanced meals.

Provide pet with suitable housing.

Groom pet well, and regularly.

Bring pet to a veterinarian for regular check-ups, and when it shows signs of sickness.

Pick up pet’s poop when you bring it out in public, and do not let it stray.

Sterilise pet to prevent unwanted litters.

Microchip pet for easy traceability in case it goes missing.
