On the 12th of April, the N2 to K2 children at M.Y World @ Marsiling Greenview (MGV) had a virtual inauguration to launch the start of the Start Small Dream Big (SSDB) Project 2022. Through the Launch Party, the children learned about the activities that they were to be embarking on throughout Term 2. As this year’s theme is focused on the topic of ‘Our Family, Our Communities’, activities in Term 2 have been infused with the core values of ‘Kindness’ and ‘Caring’.
The ‘Five Love Languages’ was introduced as the significant foundation in ‘Caring for Our Family’, which is to be carried out between Week 3 – 4 of Term 2. The children were also told to keep their anticipation up for the Interactive Kindness Live Puppet Show 2022 courtesy of Singapore Kindness Movement (SKM) on 11th of May 2022.
To wrap up the activities in Term 2, the children were told to look forward to the Kindness Celebration Day in Week 10, a day where each of the classes from each level shared the Care Videos and Kindness Songs that they have prepared.
Finally, the Fundraising Event would bring the SSDB 2022 activities to a close as they put their decorated cardboard Singa figurines up for adoption online via Give.Asia.
The SSDB 2022 Launch Party finished off with the ‘Passing on the Kindness Heart’, which traveled from bay to bay, finally arriving at the SSDB 2022 Balloon Wall, marking the start of SSDB 2022 @ MGV. Let’s go, MGV!
