This year, the children embarked on a meaningful intergenerational engagement with NTUC Senior Day Care Centre, creating lasting memories with the elderly. As part of their Mid-Autumn Festival celebration, the children performed heartwarming songs and dances, bringing joy and smiles to the seniors. In preparation for this special event, the children worked together to create colorful lanterns using recycled materials, demonstrating both creativity and a commitment to environmental sustainability. Through these activities, the children not only embraced the cultural significance of the festival but also formed meaningful connections with the elderly, fostering empathy, respect, and a sense of community across generations. The experience enriched both the children and the seniors, leaving behind a shared sense of warmth and happiness.
