The children were very excited to sell our potted plants to the school community. We set up a small booth to display our potted plants right in front of the school. The children took turns to man the booth.
It has been a long and wonderful learning journey since we embarked on this project. Through our visits to Bright Hill Evergreen Home, the children learnt the value of respect and kindness towards the elderly.
They were greatly engaged in the preparation and selling of the potted plants to benefit the home.
The K1 children were very proud and happy to sell most of their unique and beautifully designed pots. We were able to sell 45 out of 50 pots, and collected up to $300.00 cash.
We are exceedingly grateful for the support we received from the school parents, teachers and the people from our neighbourhood who patronised and supported our product!
We handed over our donation to Bright Hill Evergreen last 15 October 2018, Monday.
