The K1 children had embarked on the project based on the topic “Caring for the Community” focusing on community helpers such as the construction workers who helped to build the roads, buildings and houses in Singapore. They started off the project by creating a KWL chart to share their knowledge of construction workers and how they have worked hard to create Singapore a safe and prosperous place to live in.
Some of the children expressed their gratitude towards the hardwork put in by the workers.
Furthermore, they also worked together to discuss about what they would like to find out about the construction workers and how they can show their gratitude towards them.
