August 31… Yippee! It’s our Farmers Market day! Look at all the lovely plants and beautifully decorated SINGA figurines on sale to support the REACH E-Flag Day 2022 Virtual Tin fundraising campaign. There was also a lovely spread of yummy cupcakes, cookies, rainbow jelly cups and many other sweet treats for sale too. All these were made possible by some of our sweet parents and teachers…God bless them all! It was indeed a fun and exciting day for us to see so many parents came to support our charity sale at the Farmers Market! We saw some of our friends selling their home-baked goodies with their parents too and we had so much fun supporting their sales by acting as their customers! In fact, for most of us, it was the very first time we had money to buy something on our own and we were very thrilled with the shopping experience! And…what made us thrilled the most was the news that we managed to raise over $1000 for REACH Community Services Society from this Farmers Market fundraising event; and what more… our teachers said donations are still pouring in! Horray! What a successful closing ceremony for our “Start Small Dream Big” service learning journey in the year 2022 that day!
