Mother’s Day Celebrations, it is one of the events that we hold annually. This year, we held it on 12 May 2017.
The celebrations started with a sharing session. During the session, the children learned about why and how people celebrated Mother’s Day.
Then followed by a discussion about how we could show appreciation towards our mothers’ love and tireless care; what and how we could help our mothers in doing some simple house-works at home so that we could spend more quality time together.
The children also practiced some songs with actions that they were encouraged to present to their Mothers at home. The children also created cards and crafts for their mother.
Through this celebration, children learned how they could show appreciation towards their mothers as well as their family members.
