Mother’s Day is a time to celebrate everything that our moms mean to us. This year, we celebrate Mother’s Day on 12 May 2023. To commemorate this special day, we invited our Tiny Tots’ mothers to have a Tea Party with their little ones at our campus. Children donned clothes of their mother’s favourite colours and did a photo frame craft together. They also did a handprint for their acrylic keychain. Mothers brought light snacks and beverages to share with each other. Everyone enjoyed the session together and they truly appreciated the time spent with their loved one. We sang the Mother’s Day song together. They shared with their teachers about how much they love their mothers.
Our Preppy Learners did Celery Flower Painting. They explored the celery stem and identified the lines seen when the stem is printed on the art paper.
Our Knowledge Builders created a card holder using paper plate and some decorative items. They exercised their eye-hand coordination in cutting and pasting items.
Our Ready Skoolers discussed about why their moms are so special. Some shared that mothers are special because they give birth to the children and they can give the children everything. Some said that their mothers are as smart as a teacher and as pretty as a princess, butterfly, etc. They shared about their good memories together and penned them down on their card. They attempted to spell out the words on their own before asking the teachers for help. Well done, Ready Skoolers!
