SSDB was introduced to children using the storybook “Becky’s Treasure Hunt.” The story gave children ideas how to show love and respect to their family members.
Children were encouraged to make tokens of appreciation for their daddies for Father’s Day. They were taught that giving nice words and small gifts to others can be a way of showing love and respect.
Additionally, children made mobiles on the love languages. After they were discussed in class, children were encouraged to color, cut and hang them together to bring home and remind everyone in the family on different ways we can show love to one another.
