Introduction of theme - Kindness!
We are excited to embark on our SSDB Project once again, and this year with a new theme,
‘Kindness’!
We are also happy to have our younger N1 and friends to come onboard, joining the K1 and K2 friends in this project.
The children were introduced of the kindness phrases such as please, thank you, excuse me and how can I help you.
The teachers engaged them through discussions as they practiced using the kindness phrases and exemplified these kindness actions in their routine, transitions, lessons and play time.
The children also put up these kindness phrases around their classrooms to constantly remind them to use these phrases and at the same time be mindful of their behaviours. And we all know, practice makes perfect!
Hopefully, with the kindness seed planted, it will pave the way for them to be a better person.
This kindness activity is just a kick start of our SSDB project!
