This week, the children were introduced to the importance of showing gratitude to the people around them. This was done through sharing a newspaper article with the children. In the article, it was mentioned that an appreciation dinner was organised for the cleaners in Nee Soon and the cleaners had an enjoyable time playing games and dancing. This article created awareness of showing gratitude to cleaners and not taking them for granted.
Later, the children created cards for the cleaner in our centre and presented them to him as a way to show their appreciation.
