Racial Harmony Day is a celebration of racial and cultural diversity, which is important for a country like Singapore where people of different races and cultures come together.
For our celebration, children experienced being dressed up in their own traditional costumes and be among friends who were dressed up in other traditional costumes, thereby immersing them in the vibrancy of a multi-racial and multi-cultural environment.
Other than that, our presentation covered celebration of Racial Harmony with showing ppt, we also included some traditional games, and art and craft. A celebration was not complete without song and dance! The children also have fun singing and grooving to cultural songs.
“Let’s show off our traditional costume!”
