This year’s Racial Harmony Day celebration started with a blast at Appleland Montessori. The teachers displayed a wide variety of festive decorations from different races for the children to see and learn.
Look at the table filled with the different games/activities/decorations used for the different festive seasons/ by the different races.
All the children arrived school with their colourful and vibrant traditional costumes from many different races and countries.

During the show and tell session, the teachers patiently explained to the children about the meaning of Racial harmony and the importance of it.
The children also had roti prata (Indian cuisine) for their tea break lovingly prepared by the auntie 😊
Back in class, the children had the opportunity to play the games such as Chaptay and Five Stones. They enjoyed themselves during the activities!
