The community helpers are the hardworking people we see every day in our communities, whether they are at home, at school, at the library, or in the store. Children had a picture tk about their observations of the community helpers in the neighbourhood. Following that, they were given scratch art cards and invited to write or draw words of kindness on them. During their neighborhood stroll, they personally handed the finished cards to the volunteers.
