During our excursions to Gardens By The Bay and the River Safari, the K1 children marvelled at the beauty of nature and had enriching conversations about caring for our planet.

Aside from appreciating the incredible biodiversity, we also had the attend the Art By The Bay programme where we learnt to draw the view of the iconic Supertrees as a way to express our appreciation.
During our visit, we learnt about the importance of conserving natural habitats and how keeping a clean and green environment is essential for preserving plant and animal habitats. We were also made aware of the interconnectedness of all living things on Earth.
At the River Safari, we learnt abiut various river ecosystems and encountered many facinating aquatic creatures! We gained a deeper understanding of the delicate balance within aquafic environments and the conservation efforts needed to preserve these habitats.
On both trips, we engaged in hands-on activities that helped nuture a sense of wonder about our natural world. This sparked an interest in wildlife conservation in our classroom.
Back indoors, we discussed about how our actions have consequences and went on to think about ways we could help ensure that we could keep our Earth a safe place to stay on for all living beings!
