“What is an emergency?” “When do we call 995??” “But what do we say to the officer on the phone!?”
These were the questions posed by our friends during our SSDB discussions in school. We had to think when an ambulance is necessary, and listed all the injuries which require immediate medical attention, and which are not.
“What if the person has non-stop bleeding, and the ambulance is not here yet?” “If a person already passed away, do we still call the ambulance?”
We were so curious with the various scenarios and analysed them logically with one another. It was an engaging session.
Our most favourite activity is to try and bandage a partner who was “injured” and “bleeding badly”, while waiting for the ambulance to arrive. Check out our photos!
Our teacher said our subsequent lessons will be on the bandaging techniques. Oh, we cannot wait!
Till then, stay tuned for more updates from us at PCF Sparkletots Preschool @ Fengshan Blk 115.
