It was our first visit to the Aging Centre! The Kindergarteners were so excited to meet and get-to-know the elderlies better. Prior to the visit, the children have decided to make a card with heartfelt messages beautifully written on it to be gifted to the elderlies.
During the visit, the children put up a short performances for the elderlies as they sang and danced to both English and Chinese songs respectively. We could see lots of smiling faces!😃 The children gifted their hand-made cards to the elderlies right after the performances. Each child took the initiative to approach the elderlies for a get-to-know session. They were heard having conversation by asking questions such as:

How old are you?

What are the activities that you do here?

Have you eaten?

Do you enjoy yourself coming here?
We were amazed with the questions asked by our Kindergarteners! At the end of the visit, the children were seen shaking hands and hugging the elderlies before they bid goodbye. It was such a pleasant experience for the children! Looking forward to our next visit to be engaged in more exciting activities that we have planned for the elderlies! 😍
