In line with MSF’s Year of Celebrating Volunteers, we aimed to nurture the spirit of volunteering in young children through the SSDB initiative.
In this initiative, all parents from My First Skool at Ang Mo Kio Blk 601 contributed through in-kind donations. The N2, K1, and K2 children each played vital roles in ensuring the success of the event. Let us take you through this meaningful journey.
“We care and we want you to feel loved.” After receiving donations from parents, the K1 and K2 children took the lead in creating cards and writing simple messages to express their gratitude to the elderly for their contributions to Singapore. They also handled the packing of all the goodies.
The N2 children and parent volunteers visited the elderly at All Saints Home, where they celebrated National Day together. The celebration included a performance, the distribution of goodie bags, and craft making. Such a meaningful and fruitful day!
