During the nature walk of our K2 children, they had a chance to visit a vegetable garden in the park. Uncle Tan is very happy to introduce to the children the vegetables that he planted. Children were so excited to see different vegetables such as chilli plant, ladyfinger, lemon grass, bitter gourd, sweet potato, ginger and tomato plant. They also had a chance to see and touch a brinjal. This experience taught children to value the food that they are eating and be grateful to our farmers for their hardwork so we could have food on our table.
“Look children, this is a bitter gourd” Uncle Tan pointed it out to the children.
