Every third Sunday is Tzu Chi Foundation (Singapore)’s Eco day. To advocate the love of Mother Earth in Tzu Chi Great Love Preschool, we conduct Eco day on the Friday before Tzu Chi Foundation (Singapore)’s Eco day. On this day, children are introduced to topic related to Environmental Protection, for example, recycle right, water conservation etc.
Then, children will sort the recyclables they brought from home based on the materials made, namely, metal, paper, apparel etc.
We hope to create the eco awareness in children and inspire them to be little eco warrior and spread the message to people around them especially their parents.
