As the annual Start Small Dream Big initiative draws to a close, the spirit of compassion and intergenerational connection reaches its peak. This year’s finale project has seen an inspiring collaboration between children and elderlies, fostering a heartwarming exchange of love and creativity. In a bid to celebrate their shared experiences and create lasting memories, the children engaged in crafting DIY mandala weavings for the elderlies, showcasing the beauty of unity and compassion in their community.
The idea of bringing the children and elderlies together through artful expressions stemmed from the desire to bridge the generational gap. With guidance from teachers, the young participants embarked on a journey of creativity and compassion. The mandala weaving project was chosen as it symbolises harmony, balance, and interconnectedness - all values deeply cherished by both children and elderlies!
