In April, as part of Earth Week, we initiated our Start Small Dream Big project. At the launch event, both children and parents were encouraged to write their commitments to protecting the earth and display them on a net. In addition to making pledges, they had the opportunity to engage in weaving recycled fabric onto the net.
Throughout the week, we arranged a range of activities for the children, covering themes like climate change, recycling, and food sustainability in Singapore. Additionally, we partnered with Tetra Pak for the Little Green Dots Programme and collaborated with the Singapore Art Museum for the Think! Contemporary Preschool Exhibition 2024. To wrap up the week, a quiz was held to identify the ECO warriors in the class.
In partnership with the Singapore Art Museum, where our children were exposed to artworks by Olafur Eliasson. These art pieces helped them understand the impact of global warming on the environment. Motivated by his art, the children brainstormed environmental artwork ideas. Their creations were chosen to be showcased at the Think! Contemporary Preschool Exhibition in August.
