In conjunction with Earth Day in April 2023, we conducted our SSDB project across all levels over a week.
Our project focused educating our children on the importance to reduce, reuse and recycle waste in an effort to combat global warming and making Earth a better place. This was done through classroom lessons, collaborations with parents to collect recyclable wastes, culminating in a neighbourhood walk to observe littering and wastes accumulating in our community. Our children helped to pick up the litter, sorted them according to whether they can be recycled or not, and finally threw them into the respective bins in the neighbourhood.
Through this comprehensive experience, we hope to instill in our children the habit to reduce wastes and to start recycling from a young age with their families! Together, with many helping hands, we can make Earth a better place!
