Recycling with children is an incredibly valuable thing to promote. It will allow them to understand that they have a role to play in improving the living condition of the Earth. They will learn to protect and conserve natural resources and be a responsible stewards of environment, economy and community.
We proceeded with the center’s “Save The Earth Project”. Children were taught to segregate recyclables and non recyclables. K2 decided to use plastic milk and beverage containers as planters for gardening. K1 were encouraged to create or repurpose something out of recyclables. N2 created games using various recyclables.
