Based on this year’s SSDB theme, “Doing Good Together,” we decided to embark on a journey to instill the value of appreciation in our children. To reflect this, we chose to show our gratitude to the migrant workers who have been diligently contributing to the development of Singapore.
We kick started with a launch party in April where we celebrated and showed appreciation for migrant workers, who play a vital role in building Singapore. The event featured a special party for children and parents, where they had the opportunity to give out apples to the migrant workers as a token of gratitude. This gesture marked the beginning of a larger initiative aimed at raising funds to purchase gift packs for even more migrant workers, further demonstrating our appreciation for their hard work and contributions to the community
