It has been months since our last post - that’s because our little friends have been busy with the SSDB Project! We also involved the younger ones from Playgroup and Pre-nursery to take part in creating crafts to raise awareness on the importance of taking care of animals and pets. As we were not able to go outdoors and personally hand them to the community hence we did it the contactless way - by dropping them into the nearby mailboxes!
The older students from N2-K2 were occupied with creating items to sell to parents for our Auction Day. We made coasters, bracelets, bookmarks, frames and mini tote bags using recycled materials from Preschool Market’s Kindred Studio whom we collaborated with. At the same time, our parents contributed lots of items such as cat/dog food, toys, towels and newspapers which are some of the needed items at SPCA.
It was a refreshing and fun experience and we learned many new things through the project, and one of the notable events were our Auction Day that we did virtually on Zoom.
We are glad to announce that we raised total of $476 and collected an abundance of pet food, toys, newspapers and towels that we can’t wait to deliver to SPCA!
