This year we began our SSDB with “ SHOWING APPRECIATION FOR OUR COMMUNITY HELPERS “ .With the COVID-19 cases acceralating everyday , Children became aware of the community workers without whose help this virus cannot be fought . Children of K2 creative began appreciating the community helpers by writing a “ Thank You “ card . Unfortunately, the cards couldnt be handed to them individually but were posted onto the notice board outside the centre as a token of appreciation for their effort to maintain our surrounding .
For the Launch party we were planning to invite our community cleaners to the centre with the children presenting them with the “ Thank you “ cards and goodie bags filled with sanitizer, wipes, gloves, some food items and followed by pre-packaged lunch boxes for each of the workers . Due to the school closure , the launch party was cancelled but the goodie bags were presented to the supervisor by the school Principle.
