The teachers and 5 of the K2 children of Sunshine Kids Care Centre @ Tampines delivered the pouches to MIJ Hub on 23rd August 2022. We interacted and befriended the children of MIJ by using simple gestures such as waving and ‘hi-5’. Our children then gave the coin pouches personally to the children of MIJ.
This trip gave the children an opportunity to create awareness and better understanding of the different learning abilities and needs in our society. We hope that through this Start small dream big project, the children were able to inculcate good values such as care and appreciation which coincides with our school values.
