The Nursery children had a meaningful experience learning the value of food and understanding where it comes from and how to use food effectively to save money and our planet Earth through lesson discussion. This project aims to educate our students and extend to their families on how they can save food and avoid food wastage.
As part of this project, the children were asked to work with their groupmates to complete the pre-drawn poster by colouring it using a variety of art materials. The completed posters were posted in the classroom to serve as a reminder for the children to value the food they eat and avoid wastage. On top of this, children were also introduced to “My Healthy Plate” by Health Promotion Board to teach them a simple visual representation of what a healthy meal may look like. Great job kids!
