The K2s were out spreading kindness to the community after several sessions working to understand values of Love, Respect and Care & Concern.
Aside from just verbally saying out these values, the children took turns to share their definition of love and how they can share and spread it to those around them. After identifying the 5 types of Love Languages, they discussed on the 3 appropriate ways they could focus on to spread kindness and show love to the community which were, Words of Affirmation, Acts of Service and Receiving Gifts!
After deciding that Words of Affirmation works best, they decided to make Kindness Cards! They thought of 3 bilingual quotes defining values of Kindness, in particular on how we can all be gracious and appreciative of one another.
We are happy to update that more than 30 cards have since been distributed to the public, especially during our recent learning journey trip to Kitchener Complex NTUC Supermarket. We loved the smiles we brought to everyone when they received our Kindness Cards!
