Hampton Pre-School (Bishan)
We are thrilled to launch the SSDB project by encouraging children to brainstorm what love and gratitude mean to them, and how and to whom they can express these feelings. The K2 children created cards for their daddies and mummies, writing thankful messages for them.
The K1 children decided to create a song for their parents. They brainstormed what they would like to tell their parents through the song, sharing messages like “I love you” and “Thank you for taking care of me.” Working together with the teacher, they came up with the song “I Always Love You,” sung to the tune of “A Whole New World” from Aladdin.
The children are looking forward to the “Parents and Family Day” event, where they will invite their family members to school where they will participate in various activities to express love and gratitude.
